Where can I go when I bare boat charter?

Being centrally located in the middle of the Solent we have the ideal location to explore the whole of the area. To make the most of your days charter or bare boat charter  you can go East, West or stay local?

Today we are going to explore the west –

Firstly on the mainland we have Beaulieu River with its picture postcard scenery, spectacular riverside houses, tranquillity and glimpses of an array of nature, meandering up to Bucklers Hard where you will find the Master Builders and Captain Cabins tea rooms for a delicious lunch or cream tea.

Crossing the Western Solent to the Isle of Wight, you can find Newtown Creek, once the capital of the Isle of Wight and now a Bird Sanctuary. Tide permitting get up to Shalfleet and enjoy the walk to the award winning New Inn.

Before we reach the Needles channel we have Yarmouth on the Island side and Lymington on the main land. Both Yarmouth and Lymington have numerous bars and restaurants, notably in Yarmouth we have the famous Salty’s for great fish as well as the George Hotel.

My pick, weather permitting, has to be The Hut in Colwell bay. Situated opposite Hurst Castle this is a real gem. With its enviable location with sights over the Purbecks, Bournemouth and the Needles, I visited last year with students who thought they had landed in the Med! I also took my wife and children, Finn and Isla who are 5 and 3 and we couldn’t have been more welcome, even with the kids dancing on the sunny decking. I would highly recommend booking and enjoy the ride ashore in the restaurant’s tender!
