What is an Assisted RIB Charter?
An assisted rib charter is when you are accompanied on your charter by one of our RYA MCA qualified skippers/instructors. The day is still up to you to plan and decide on where you want to explore but with the added security of having an expert at hand. This is ideal should you want additional advice or guidance when skippering the vessel or if you simply want to relax and hand the wheel to someone else for a while. Your RIB and skipper/instructor will be available for the duration of your assisted charter and can do as much or as little as you would like including skippering, revising boating skills, assisting with moorings, rough weather handling etc.
Enjoy the very latest MCA coded Ribcraft RIBs, the boats we have available for assisted charter range from 6.8 – 7.8 metres and are capable of taking from 8 to 12 guests respectively.
The 6.8m RIBs are powered by Suzuki 200hp 4 stroke and are very economical, with the 7.8m RIBs being powered by Suzuki 250hp 4 stroke engines. All RIBs have the latest safety equipment including- ICOM VHF DSC, Garmin Charter Plotter, Flares, Fire Extinguishers and Life jackets.
How Much Does it Cost?
Assisted charter prices are quoted from our base at Saxon Wharf Marina, Southampton and are exclusive of fuel used and VAT. The boat will come fully fuelled and fuel consumed will be charged at the current MDL pump prices. Your skipper can collect and deliver you anywhere in the Solent.
