What is an Assisted RIB Charter?

An assisted rib charter is when you are accompanied on your charter by one of our RYA MCA qualified skippers/instructors. The day is still up to you to plan and decide on where you want to explore but with the added security of having an expert at hand. This is ideal should you want additional advice or guidance when skippering the vessel or if you simply want to relax and hand the wheel to someone else for a while. Your RIB and skipper/instructor will be available for the duration of your assisted charter and can do as much or as little as you would like including skippering, revising boating skills, assisting with moorings, rough weather handling etc.

Do I Need Previous Experience?

As you will be skippering, all you need is a RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate or proof of an RYA power boat level 2 certificate.

The Boats

Enjoy the very latest MCA coded Ribcraft RIBs, the boats we have available for assisted charter range from 6.8 – 7.8 metres and are capable of taking from 8 to 12 guests respectively.
