Skip the usual travel drama, getting to The Hut by rib, powerboat, or yacht is part of the fun. We’ll pick you up from Ocean Village or Hamble Point Marina, and deliver you straight to Colwell Bay, where The Hut awaits. If you prefer, we’re also happy to arrange a table on your behalf, so you just need to step aboard and enjoy the ride.
We have three boats to choose from: zip across the Solent on 'Dark N Stormy', our fast and fun RIB (up to 9 guests); cruise in style aboard 'Mollie', a sleek Axopar powerboat (up to 8 guests); or make a real entrance on 'Legend Lady', a luxury Princess flybridge motor yacht (up to 12 guests).
Whether you want a skippered water taxi or a bareboat rental (if you’re qualified), we can get you there. We’ll navigate across the waves so you can arrive refreshed and ready for a relaxed meal.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY
- We meet you at your chosen marina (Ocean Village or Hamble Point Marina), help you aboard and run through a quick safety briefing.
- From there, we set off, weather permitting, we’ll even cruise past scenic spots like the chalk cliffs of the western Isle of Wight en route.
- When we reach Colwell Bay, we anchor and The Hut’s own tender will ferry you ashore, delivering you straight to your table.
- After your meal, we’ll collect you again from the mooring field and return to your drop‑off point. If it was a long lunch or the tide’s changed, no problem, we’ll work around it.
